200 years of history were displayed through the collection of objects including posters, instruments from cockpits, Concorde souvenirs and even one Mirage fighter plane.

A Woman at the Helm of the Air and Space MuseumOn August 10, 2010, Catherine Maunoury, world champion aerobatic pilot, took over as the head of the Museum of Air and Space for a three-year term. The museum is located at the site of the Le Bourget airport.
She succeeds Gerard Feldzer, airline pilot and longtime friend. The official induction ceremony took place this past Thursday in the presence of dignitaries such as the Defense Minister, Herve Morin, the Military Governor of Paris, General Bruno Dary, and Air Force Chief of Staff, General Jean-Paul Palomeros.
Catherine Maunoury earned her pilot's license at the age of 17. Her passion for aviation resulted in her being crowned two time aerobatic world champion, ten time French champion and Libre Integral European champion. She now heads this famous museum which houses a collection of over 400 aircraft and spacecraft and received 300,000 visitors last year.

E-Boutique and Vintage Collection LaunchesOn September 22nd, Bell & Ross hosted a cruise on the vintage yacht The Manhattan to celebrate the opening on that day of its U.S. e-Boutique and the launch of its new Vintage collection.
The U.S. e-boutique follows 2009's successful opening of Bell & Ross' European online shopping site and is intended to increase the visibility of the brand in the U.S. The new Vintage collection will be offered through the e-boutique and is inspired by the pilot watches worn by members of the “Greatest Generation.”
Approximately 40 members of the press and watch industry were treated to sushi by the world renowned chef and Iron Chef star Morimoto. Guests were also able to view the many different Vintage Collection models including the Original, Heritage and Officer.
Stacie Orloff, Bell & Ross President The Americas thanked the guests for coming and commented that the e-boutique had already recorded its first sale from St. Louis where Bell & Ross does not have an authorized retailer, pointing out the necessity for such a service for Bell & Ross watch lovers.
Cruising the Hudson River in a 1920's vintage style yacht and viewing the stunning Manhattan skyline was the perfect way to celebrate the launch of Bell & Ross' Vintage Collection and opening of its e-boutique.

Jet Family PartyThe Jet Family Party was organized in Vnukovo-3 airport with the support of Bell & Ross and marked the opening of the 5th annual business aviation exhibition.
The Business aviation complex proved an ideal spot for holding such a large-scale event, taking place in Russia for the first time.
The guests of the event had a unique opportunity to discover the latest models of luxurious business jets: Embraer Lineage 1000, and others.
Spacious tents set up on the territory of the complex were adorned with an exhibition of Bell & Ross timepieces. It was the occasion for the brand to officially launch its collections in the Russian territory with its distributor Mercury.
It's no surprise Bell & Ross chose this particular event as a premiere as the brand has always been inspired by the world of aviation.
The event gathered a large number of Bell & Ross fans, who showed great interest in the brand's latest collections.
The evening take-off strip, illuminated jets, the light show on the stage and white tents - everything was covered in mystery with the beat of rock-music setting the tone of the party.
The performance by famous singer Yoav filled the party with a special atmosphere whereas the funky chords of the legendary Russian band "Bi-2" left nobody indifferent!
The guests didn't leave the party till late at night, enjoying a unique atmosphere of the evening...

Bell & Ross Vintage Collection Launch EventOn September 15th, Bell & Ross launched its new Vintage Collection at the prestigious Cercle National des Armées in Paris.
The three different models within the collection were unveiled: Original, Heritage and Officer....all inspired by pilot watches of the 40's and 50's, and all faithful to the original source of the brand's inspiration.
There was a sumptuous catered buffet as well as a watch making workshop where one could admire the Bell & Ross watchmaker's expertise. Guests also had the opportunity to be photographed in vintage pilot gear in front of a Vintage plane backdrop and take home a unique souvenir from the event.
Following Bell&Ross chairman Carlos A. Rosillo's speech, prizes were awarded to the four winners of the Photo Contest that took place this summer on the brand's website and Facebook page.
More than 500 people attended the event. Journalists and media executives rubbed shoulders with military representatives, professional pilots, political figures, as well as watch industry leaders, all sharing their passion for fine watch making.
In such a convivial and friendly environment it was no wonder that the party went on until the late hours of the evening.

Bell & Ross official launching event in KoreaFor its introduction in the Korean market, Bell & Ross invited press and VIPs for the official launch event in the JNB Gallery in the center of Seoul. The invitees enjoyed the Bell & Ross spirit in an exclusive and high-tech atmosphere surrounded with visuals, video projections and hologram showcases displaying the watches with a "floating" visual effect.
Infrared sensors were installed on the ceiling, guiding clients by a voice narration and music in each concept zone.
